Total project management. In addition to the wide range of primary services and capacity offered Quinton Major is able to use its extensive network of sub-contractors to manage manufacturing projects that would otherwise fall outside the services conventionally available at any one supplier. Quinton Major can therefore act as an one-stop umbrella supplier for a variety of outsourcing including, heat treatment, plating, painting, bending (tube manipulation), gear cutting, grinding (internally), press-works, castings and forgings (both with finish machining) as well as flame/laser cutting. Due to Quinton Major's close working relationship with our subcontractors we are able to deliver extremely competitive pricing based on our volumes and already established commercial practises, such as regular transportation within our sub-contractor network.

Machining. Our capability as detailed in the plant list demonstrates that Quinton Major can CNC turn parts up to 12'' in size and CNC mill a variety of sizes up to 600 x 800 x 600 mm.

Finishing processes. Rumbling, hardening and grinding are used to finish off customer components in house to exacting standards. We also offer sub-contracted finishing processes.

Low volume and prototyping. Using our in-house tool room we can machine samples and low volume parts to exact customer requirements. The tool room also makes our own fixtures and jigs that are used on different processes throughout the factory.

Press-shop. Using our own internal equipment we are able to assemble and bend simple components. More complex parts are serviced using our sub-contractor network.

Robot welding. Quinton Major has three fully automatic ABB robot welding cells. Each cell is powered by modern ESAB ARTISO MIG Synergic Inverter Welding sets that enable a wide variety of welding methods to be implemented and repeated from memory if required.

Manual welding methods. In addition to the robot cells Quinton Major also houses three manual welding bays where low volume MIG, MMA and TIG welding jobs are performed by our experienced welders.

Logistics. The company has its own transport and is able to deliver free of charge to all its UK customers.
