Traceability and conformance is
controlled by the monitoring system which utilizes a unique encrypted
touch-key where the machine operator/setter and QC touch the "SensoLog"
box to relay information at a given time back to the central system.
This is enhanced further by CCTV visual monitoring of the machines
and provides useful training information.
Tooling and PPE is also controlled using this standardised
system of identification. All tooling and consumables used on
customer components are stored in a VENDA 365 computerized vending
system allowing the correct tools to be distributed for specific
parts again using a unique ID number.
Faro Arm CMM. To support our ISO9001 quality system a Faro
arm is used which operates like a CMM but much simpler enabling fast
measurements of a vast array of parts produced on site. On
high accuracy components Quinton
Major utilises a Marposs electronic micron gauges to control
processes.
Extensive first principle measuring
equipment including micrometers and custom-made gauges.
